‘See How They Run’ by Philip King. The vicar’s wife is an ex-actress. While he is away a friend calls and he invites her to dine in town, which is out of bounds to servicemen, so he dresses in the vicar’s clothes. They are seen repeating one of their theatrical scenes and the wrong conclusion is drawn. Matters become highly complicated when the vicar returns, followed by the Bishop and a German POW disguised as a vicar!
